From as early on as I can remember, I have been able to find the magic and beauty of all things. It's through this appreciation of life I got so drawn into capturing moments.

With such easy access to camera phones in the digital age, most of us don't think twice about the simple act of taking a photo. I was reawakened of photography's impact on a trip to Lombok, Indonesia.

When making a wrong turn on my motorbike, I stumbled upon a large family farm and was invited to stay for dinner.  As a thank you, I gifted printed Polaroid pictures to gift the family. The father of the farm asked we take a photo of his blind father - who was no less than 100 years old. It was the first and only photo he had to remember his father. This little piece of film, although simple to me, was something so priceless and irreplaceable to the family that it brought tears to their eyes.

A photograph immortalizes the essence of people, things, and moments throughout time and space. It can dramatize moods, and with manipulation, create alternate doors to other worlds.

It's through this vision I bring my art to the world.
